My calendar today talks about one of Billy Graham's sons. He was given a dollar and came to Billy, "Daddy, keep this for me." But in a few minutes he came back and said, "Daddy, I'd better keep my own dollar." He tucked the dollar in his pocket only to come back a few minutes later with tears in his eyes. "Daddy, I lost my dollar. Help me find it." What a perfect illustration of me lately!
I know that God is trustworthy but because I can't see Him I doubt that He's capable enough to handle my future. Doubts with the economy and how this will effect B's job are really starting to creep into my thought process lately.
Ps. 40:4 says "Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust."
So, Lord? Here's my dollar...keep it for good.
